Alison Post has taught Social Studies at DeLaSalle since 2002, following her graduation from Luther College in 2000 with degrees in History and Africana Studies and after working at Huntington Learning Center. She currently teaches sections of Modern World History and Geography – the required Social Studies course for sophomores – as well as U.S. Government and Honors Government. “Every day I try to provide students with the skills to become life-long learners and responsible citizens,” she says. Ms. Post also serves on the school’s TINT (Technology Integration Team) that helps faculty develop and hone their technology skills. She has coached volleyball and helps run W.O.W. – the Women of Words book club for girls. Ms. Post lives in St. Michael with her husband, two daughters, son and a dog.
