What is the Christian Brothers’ Gala?

The Christian Brothers’ Gala is DeLaSalle’s only student scholarship fundraiser. This benefit raises more than $350,000 each year to support De students. Reconnect with old friends. Meet new parents, seasoned parents, alumni, staff and friends. A party with a purpose, the evening features both live and silent auctions, dinner and entertainment.

The fun does not end the night of the Christian Brothers’ Gala. Current DeLaSalle parents are invited to connect with other parents in their child’s grade while supporting student scholarships during the Great Gathering parent parties. Check back soon for information about this year’s parties.

How We Plan Your Reunion – A Team Approach

Class reunions are an exciting time to join together, reminisce on high school experiences and find out what has happened in your classmates’ lives since the last reunion or even graduation! Returning to DeLaSalle for your Class Reunion gives you the opportunity to renew past friendships while becoming reacquainted with the DeLaSalle campus. The DLS Alumni Association recommends that each graduating class celebrate a high school reunion every five years.

The DeLaSalle Alumni Association has adopted a new spirit and attitude regarding the development of reunions. The Alumni Association wishes to see each class approach reunion planning with a committee of classmates who plan in collaboration with the DLS Alumni Relations Office. This team effort will increase communication between classmates, assure events are organized, and result in the best of celebrations.

We know that you lead a busy life and planning a major event like a reunion can be both exciting and overwhelming. With that being said, your class reunion committee and DeLaSalle alumni staff can work together as a team to pull off a successful reunion.

Make a difference! Become a member of your class reunion planning committee. You can help build enthusiasm, share your ideas with your classmates, help raise funds for your class reunion gift, meet new friends or reacquaint yourself with old ones, all the while having a great time.

If you are interested in joining a reunion planning committee, or if you would like more information, contact Christian Glanville at 612.676.7618.
