What is the Christian Brothers’ Gala?

The Christian Brothers’ Gala is DeLaSalle’s only student scholarship fundraiser. At the 2019 Enchanted Forest themed Gala more than $500,000 was raised to support De students. Reconnect with old friends. Meet new parents, seasoned parents, alumni, staff and friends. A party with a purpose, the evening features both live and silent auctions, dinner and entertainment.

How We Plan Your Reunion – A Team Approach

Class reunions are an exciting time to join together, reminisce on high school experiences and find out what has happened in your classmates’ lives since the last reunion or even graduation! Returning to DeLaSalle for your Class Reunion gives you the opportunity to renew past friendships while becoming reacquainted with the DeLaSalle campus. The DLS Alumni Association recommends that each graduating class celebrate a high school reunion every five years.

The DeLaSalle Alumni Association has adopted a new spirit and attitude regarding the development of reunions. The Alumni Association wishes to see each class approach reunion planning with a committee of classmates who plan in collaboration with the DLS Alumni Relations Office. This team effort will increase communication between classmates, assure events are organized, and result in the best of celebrations.

We know that you lead a busy life and planning a major event like a reunion can be both exciting and overwhelming. With that being said, your class reunion committee and DeLaSalle alumni staff can work together as a team to pull off a successful reunion.

Make a difference! Become a member of your class reunion planning committee. You can help build enthusiasm, share your ideas with your classmates, help raise funds for your class reunion gift, meet new friends or reacquaint yourself with old ones, all the while having a great time.

If you are interested in joining a reunion planning committee, or if you would like more information, contact Liz Hewitt at 612.676.7659.

Homecoming 2019

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Homecoming this year. The rain and cold couldn’t stop the Islanders from coming out to support one another. We hope to see you in 2020.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Black and Gold Weekend 2019. We had a large turn out for the Hall of Fame Ceremony on Thursday and a beautiful day of golf on Friday. All topped off with fun 50th and 60th reunions on campus on Saturday. Big changes are coming for 2020, be sure to keep an eye out for things to come!

On Thursday, August 8, DeLaSalle inducted its 2019 Hall of Fame class. Read more here.

The annual event honors alumni and friends of DeLaSalle who have made significant impacts in our community in the areas of philanthropy, service, athletics and the arts.

Thank you to all who attended our 2019 golf tournament at Majestic Oaks! We will share more information about our 2020 golf tournament once we finalize details.

Whether you land in the fairways or find the hazards, your participation in this golf event will help make a winning difference in the lives of many DeLaSalle High School students! Prefer to completely avoid the rough? Consider volunteering, being a hole sponsor or donating gift or raffle prizes! Every person matters in order to make our tournament a successful event each year!

On Saturday, August 10, DeLaSalle honored the Class of 1959 and 1969 with their 60th and 50th class reunions. The reunion evening began with an optional school tour and Mass. Thank you to Fr. Joe Gillespie ’60, O.P. for celebrating the Mass with us.

Below are a current list of social event that individual classes hold throughout the year. If you are interested in participating an event or would like to organize an event for your class, please contact the Office of Development & Alumni Relations.
