One of DeLaSalle’s favorite events is our annual golf tournament. We love spending the day with alums, parents, and friends of the school and hearing the reasons that you are passionate about supporting our students and each other. This year, with the uncertainty of COVID we are making some changes to our annual golf tournament to keep everyone safe. What isn’t changing is the camaraderie and fun. So, register today!

  • NEW! This year’s event will be held at Theodore Wirth Golf Course in Minneapolis.
  • In order to comply with social distancing guidelines, the course will limit golf carts to one person per cart. Therefore, we have a limit of 60 golfers. Get that foursome registered as soon as possible.
  • To secure your spot, we ask you to please complete your registration in advance.
  • After golf, we will gather together on the terrace for dinner. We will, of course, adhere to social distancing and food safety guidelines.
  • NEW! We are offering an exciting addition to our tournament this year. For those who wish to join later in the day (or those who still have energy after a day of golf), we have reserved the disc golf course at Theodore Wirth. It’s like golf. It’s like frisbee. It’s a ton of fun!

We’re so excited to see you!

You may register below. Please contact Liz Hewitt with questions.

We will continue to update this page with changes to event planning due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Alumni and friends of DeLaSalle gather in Arizona for an annual reception. Each spring, members of the DeLaSalle Advancement Office join the school president in visiting with alumni and friends in Arizona and Florida. These outreach efforts give us a chance to thank our supporters and share the good news of DeLaSalle, a story that still resonates for multiple generations. Each year, many alums and friends visit the school or attend school events. And each year, the DeLaSalle Office of Advancement travels to meet with alumni and friends as a sign of appreciation for their ongoing support. Advancement staff have the opportunity to update and thank our supporters, and attendees to those events find ways to support the school’s longevity and vitality. If you are in the area and wish to attend an event, please contact Liz Hewitt.

This year’s alumni and friends receptions were held February 26 in Tonto Verde, AZ, February 28 in Tucson, AZ, and March 11 in Bonita Springs, FL.

How We Plan Your Reunion – A Team Approach

Class reunions are an exciting time to join together, reminisce on high school experiences and find out what has happened in your classmates’ lives since the last reunion or even graduation! Returning to DeLaSalle for your Class Reunion gives you the opportunity to renew past friendships while becoming reacquainted with the DeLaSalle campus. The DLS Alumni Association recommends that each graduating class celebrate a high school reunion every five years.

The DeLaSalle Alumni Association has adopted a new spirit and attitude regarding the development of reunions. The Alumni Association wishes to see each class approach reunion planning with a committee of classmates who plan in collaboration with the DLS Alumni Relations Office. This team effort will increase communication between classmates, assure events are organized, and result in the best of celebrations.

We know that you lead a busy life and planning a major event like a reunion can be both exciting and overwhelming. With that being said, your class reunion committee and DeLaSalle alumni staff can work together as a team to pull off a successful reunion.

Make a difference! Become a member of your class reunion planning committee. You can help build enthusiasm, share your ideas with your classmates, help raise funds for your class reunion gift, meet new friends or reacquaint yourself with old ones, all the while having a great time.

If you are interested in joining a reunion planning committee, or if you would like more information, contact Liz Hewitt at 612.676.7659.

Black and Gold Weekend is one of our favorites of the year. We always look forward to honoring those whom we are inducting into the Hall of Fame, hitting the golf course in support of students, and hosting class reunions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have postponed the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and class reunions until next year. We have also postponed the DeLaSummerFest gathering we had planned for August 8.

If your schedule allows, please register and join us at our annual golf tournament on Friday, August 7. Look at the “Golf Tournament” tab on this page for more information.

Below are a current list of social event that individual classes hold through out the year. If you are interested in participating an event or would like to organize an event for your class, please contact the Office of Development & Alumni Relations.
