DeLaSalle offers several opportunities throughout the year for alumni and friends to connect with each other and to maintain their relationship with the school.
Arizona, Florida Alumni Luncheons
The Office of Development hosts a luncheon each March for alumni and friends of DeLaSalle who live or vacation in Arizona and Florida. DeLaSalle President Barry Lieske attends both events, where he shares exciting and important school updates and news about the many successes and accomplishments by current and past Islanders alike.
Alumni and friends are invited to celebrate their memories of DeLaSalle through a series of events. The annual weekend includes the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament, and school tours, Mass and class reunion celebrations.
There’s no place like home, especially at DeLaSalle. For more than a century, thousands have called this school on Nicollet Island their home – and all are welcome to return home during Homecoming Week each fall to share memories, reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Homecoming Week culminates on Homecoming Saturday each year with the annual alumni soccer and varsity football games.
The Christian Brothers’ Gala brings students, parents, staff, alumni and friends together at DeLaSalle’s largest student scholarship fundraiser. Participants raise an average of $250,000 – money that directly supports students – through an evening that includes live and silent auctions, dinner, and entertainment.
Give to the Max
Islanders have a long tradition of supporting each other – and this spirit of generosity manifests itself annually through the Give to the Max campaign. The initiative represents the largest one-day fundraising effort in Minnesota and provides financial support for non-profit organizations and schools, like DeLaSalle, throughout state.
