DeLaSalle hosts two open houses for prospective students and their families each year; one in the fall and another in mid January. Each open house begins promptly at 7:00pm and concludes at 9:00pm. Guests have the opportunity to learn more about:
- DeLaSalle’s mission as a Catholic, college preparatory high school, now in its second century on historic Nicollet Island.
- Strategic goals for coming years in areas related to Lasallian education, academics and technology, student life and activities, facility development, and other areas.
- Each academic department and its approach to college preparatory curriculum, honors programs, individualized instruction, and other components of the classroom experience at De.
Supplemental presentations which cover the “parallel curriculum” in areas such as student activities, guidance and college planning, the Global Advantage Program, financial aid and scholarships, implementation of support technologies and more.

Thank you to the 384 families who visited DeLaSalle at our two Open Houses for Prospective Students and Families on October 30 and January 17. We encourage students who were unable to attend an Open House to schedule a visit at DeLaSalle.
Arrange a Student Visit – – an “Islander for a Day”
Prospective students are encouraged to visit DeLaSalle for all or part of a school day during visiting season – November through February. Visiting students will be paired with a current De student – someone DeLaSalle selects to match the student’s interestsa friend, former classmate, or someone DeLaSalle knows matches the student’s personal, academic, and activity interests, or a friend or former classmate. We provide lunch for all student visitors. To sign up for an Islander for a Day visit, please click here:
Schedule a one-hour parent tour of De:
We welcome individual meetings/tours with parents, because every “story” is important and every question deserves an answer. We benefit from such meetings as much as parents/guardians will.
To arrange a visit or personal tour, please contact the Office of Admission, at 612-676-7679 or 612-676-7665. To start an application to DeLaSalle, please select your option by clicking on the “Apply to DeLaSalle” button.
