Staff, part-time 

DeLaSalle is seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist serves within the Business Office to lead and execute the various aspects of the school’s human resources items. From overseeing the onboarding process for new hires to training employees on company policy and procedures, this position supports the entire workforce of the school through their detailed understanding of laws and regulations involved in hiring and firing and uses this knowledge to ensure the business is well protected, accurate maintenance of records of financial resources is achieved, and employee wellness programming is relevant and valued.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or related.
  • 2 years of experience processing company payroll.
  • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills.

Faculty, full-time or part-time

Join our team as an on-call, short-term Substitute Teacher at DeLaSalle High School. The on-call Substitute teacher fulfills needs in various classrooms throughout the school year when vacancies occur due to illness, professional development training, conferences, or personal obligations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Commitment to the Mission of DeLaSalle High School 
  • Experience teaching in a high school level classroom is a plus.

Transportation, part-time (20-25 hours per week); starting rate of pay up to $18 an hour

To provide for the safe transportation of DeLaSalle students through the operation of school owned vehicles and execute duties in compliance with all laws, regulations and training. Compensation commensurate with experience and licensure.

Drivers work flexible hours from late August through end of May. Weekday morning and afternoon shifts; activity transportation (afternoons and weekends), or a combination of the two are available. Bus operations include morning and afternoon routes and activity driving. Van operations include morning and afternoon routes.

License Requirements

Clean driving record

Department of Transportation physical (cost reimbursed by DeLaSalle)

Bus: CDL with school bus endorsement; some training available

Van: Standard driver’s license; short training session
