Staff, full-time

DeLaSalle High School seeks an Events and Engagement Manager with a passion for connecting alumni, friends, and other stakeholders to the school and its mission.  The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and an ability to deliver meaningful events.  The opportunity for alumni, friends and parents to connect, and re-connect with DeLaSalle often begins through a reunion or an event, and the Events and Engagement Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring those connections are positive experiences.  Excellent communication, organization, event planning and execution skills are a must.

The Events and Engagement Manager will report to the Vice President for Advancement and will be a key member of the Advancement office at DeLaSalle.  The position will primarily be responsible for the planning and execution of events, and in concert with event planning, will be integral in developing relationships with various stakeholders, including vendors and sponsors.  A candidate will need to have a strong attention to detail and organization, an ability to handle multiple projects, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, proven project management experience, and an ability to work independently, while also supporting the team during events.  This position will also require a certain amount of support for a variety of office tasks and support. The position will require work outside of normal business hours during events and peak periods. The position is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Outside of events, this position allows for some amount of flexible scheduling.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior event planning or alumni relations experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge (and NXT) preferred, but not required.

Student Activities, seasonal

We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic coach to take over this emerging program. Job duties include executing practices and meets, completing administrative duties, and compliance with the MSHSL by-laws.

Faculty, long-term substitute

DeLaSalle is accepting applications for a long-term substitute English teacher, with the term beginning mid-November, 2018 and lasting through mid-March -2019).


  • Minimum of BA Degree in subject area or related field.
  • Experience teaching in high school level classroom a plus.

Faculty, short-call substitute

DeLaSalle is accepting applications for short-call substitute teachers for the 2018-19 school year.

Substitute Teachers fulfill the duties of the regular teacher in the teacher’s absence, including taking attendance; assigning classwork following teacher’s lesson plans; distributes and collects work according to the teachers instructions; maintains confidentiality of student records and information, and maintains an orderly classroom.

Transportation, seasonal part-time

To provide for the safe transportation of DeLaSalle students through the operation of school owned vehicles and execute duties in compliance with all laws, regulations and training. Compensation commensurate with experience and licensure.

Drivers work flexible hours (10-30 hours per week) from late August through end of May. Weekday morning and afternoon shifts; activity transportation (afternoons and weekends), or a combination of the two are available. Bus operations include morning and afternoon routes and activity driving. Van operations include morning and afternoon routes.

License Requirements

  • Clean driving record
  • Department of Transportation physical (cost reimbursed by DeLaSalle)
  • Bus: CDL with school bus endorsement; some training available
  • Van: Standard driver’s license; short training session
