Let us remember…that we are in the holy presence of God.
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Holy Saint Mark,
Please carry our prayer to the Lord.
May we always be eager to serve God as you were.
May we never miss the opportunity to preach the Good News to others.
May we embrace the holy friendships God puts in our lives.
May we see others as gift from God to us.
We pray in Jesus’ name,
Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts – Forever!

Go, Islanders!
In 17th century France, Saint John Baptist de La Salle founded a teaching order, The Brothers of the Christian Schools, commonly referred to as the Christian Brothers. Over 300 years later, Christian Brothers and their Lasallian colleagues serve ministries in 80+ countries.
All this week we celebrate the Founder of the Lasallian method of teaching and the namesake of our school. Today we look at what it means to be a “founder” and the importance of prayer in the Lasallian community.

Islander pride shines this week through special visual and performance arts events. The Gospel Choir opens the week with a selection of inspiring songs in a one-hour concert tonight, 7:00pm, in the Florance Center. For a list of this week’s arts events, click here.
