Let us remember…that we are in the holy presence of God.
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Today we join Pope Francis and faith-filled people around the world in
consecrating the war in Ukraine to the intercession of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Let us pray,
O Mary, Queen of Mercy,
help us to put an end to greed and evil actions.
O Mary, Queen of the Rosary,
make us realize our need for daily prayer.
O Mary, Queen of the Human Family,
guide us to live in friendship and love.
O Mary, Queen of Peace,
we pray for all those suffering from violence, oppression, and war.
O Mary, Queen of Glory,
carry our prayers to the Lord this day,
that through your intercession God’s peace will be poured upon the earth.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us.

LUNCH PRAYER OPPORTUNITY TODAY: Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to Mary
Today, from 11:00am to 12:00pm CST, Pope Francis and faithful people around the world will be praying a prayer of Consecration of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  We invite all students and staff who would like to join in the prayer of consecration to come to the chapel at the beginning of each lunch period for a time of adoration and to pray the Act of Consecration. We will start the prayer as soon as possible so students and staff will have time to return to their lunch time.
The Islanders will play Totino-Grace High School in the Class 3A title game tomorrow (Saturday), at 5:00pm, at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus.

Free fan shuttle buses will depart from the front of school, 4:00pm – 4:45pm, and return fans to school following the game.  All Islander supporters are encouraged to be loud and proud, and respectful of all.

The Minnesota State High School League has established ticket prices for the state tournament at $17 for adult spectators and $11 for students. Tickets must be purchased online through the U of MN ticket office.

A Welcome Home celebration will take place in the DLS school gym following the title game.
