Fall Play “3 Musketeers” Opens Next Weekend |
Just as DeLaSalle Theatre wraps up production of its fall musical, it is preparing for performances of the fall play “3 Musketeers.” Performances are November 12, 13, 19, and 20, at 7:30pm, on the Friendshuh Stage in the Florance Center. Tickets are $15 for reserved seating; $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors; and free for DeLaSalle students with school ID. You may purchase reserved tickets in advance here. In this original DeLaSalle Theatre production, we meet D’Artagnan. Coming from rural France, he wants to fulfill his ambition of becoming one of the king’s elite guardsmen, the Musketeers. In Paris he meets Athos, Porthos and Aramis, three of the king’s finest Musketeers, who have been let go from service. The new friends work to stop Cardinal Richelieu’s plot to overthrow the monarchy and have power over France. |

November Parent Association Meeting Rescheduled to Nov. 15 |
The DeLaSalle Parent Association typically meets on the second Monday of each month. However, this month, our meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, November 15 because the speaker we wish to present is unavailable on November 8. So, mark your calendars and plan to join us on Monday, November 15, from 6:30-8:00pm, in the Schulze Learning Lab (D104) for good conversation, good food, and great company. All parents are invited to attend and are members of the association by way of your child’s enrollment in DeLaSalle. |
Registering For, and Learning About Winter Sports at De |
Winter sports will soon begin at DeLaSalle – and students are invited to register now to participate. DeLaSalle offers boys’ and girls’ basketball, boys’ and girls’ hockey, boys’ swimming, wrestling, winter sideline cheer, and, new this year, nordic skiing. Students should register here as soon as possible so that you can receive important information about practices and the team. You must also have a current physical on file with the Student Activities office. Students who have registered for a winter sport are encouraged to attend or participate with their family in PAC (parent athlete coach) meetings for each sport. These meetings provide you with helpful information for the upcoming season. You can find when PAC meetings are scheduled for each sport here. |
