Advent Wreath
Let us remember…that we are in the holy presence of God.
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
O Gracious God,
In this season of preparation, we look to You with hope.
Never has our community, our city, our world needed Your joy and peace more than now.
We pray especially for those affected by Friday’s tornadoes and those responders who are assisting them.
We trust in Your blessings and seek Your holy presence during this third week of Advent.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts – Forever!

Do you know your Canvas username and password? Some teachers will require the use of the Respondus LockDown browser to complete quizzes and students will need to be prepared to enter their Canvas username and password each time they take a quiz.

If you have forgotten your password, there is a “Forgot Password?” prompt on the landing page of If more assistance is needed, stop by the Tech Office or email

Be kind to yourself as the first semester comes to an end; reduce your stress level by using good study habits to prepare for finals. You can use this Finals Prep Tool to help you prepare for finals and map out your strategy for each day. Once you have taken notes and studied for finals, it is time to take them. Follow these Testing Strategies to help you be successful with finals. These tools and more can be found on the DLS Library Homework help page in Canvas.

Helpful tips from the DLS Guidance Office: This weekend is a great time to begin studying for finals — avoid procrastination and trying to cram at the last minute! Studying should be done in short increments with frequent breaks, this will help students retain more information. Consider using the Pomodoro Method which is 25 minutes of studying followed by a 5 minute break. Try the timers from the Study Music Project found in the link.
