Let us remember…that we are in the holy presence of God.
+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for the Lord has looked with favor on this humble servant.
The Almighty has done great things for me
and holy is God’s Name.

The Student Council has been presented with an awesome opportunity: We’ll be partnering with the Agape Oasis Foundation to sponsor three families with Christmas gifts. We need your help to raise funds for this great cause!
Five buckets will be in the Florance Center during lunches. The buckets are labeled by ID numbers: 00s and 10s, 20s and 30s, 40s and 50s, 60s and 70s, 80s and 90s. Please deposit your donation coins in the bucket that matches your ID number.
All coins are positive points for your team and are worth the face value. For example, a quarter is worth 25 points and a penny would be worth 1 point. Dollar bills are worth face value –$1 = 100 points– but are negative values. Deposit dollar bills in others’ buckets to lower their point score.
At the end of the week, the ID number group with the highest point value will be allowed to get lunch first for an entire week and earn an out-of-uniform day. So bring in those coins to boost your team and dollar bills to subtract from others –and raise funds for the Agape Oasis families!
Be kind to yourself as the first semester comes to an end; reduce your stress level by using good study habits to prepare for finals. You can use this Finals Prep Tool to help you prepare for finals and map out your strategy for each day. Once you have taken notes and studied for finals, it is time to take them. Follow these Testing Strategies to help you be successful with finals. These tools and more can be found on the DLS Library Homework help page in Canvas.
