A friendly reminder that all students must have their school-issued iPads in a DeLaSalle case. No student is approved to not have their iPads without a case or in a different case. Please visit the IT office if you have any questions.
If you are a junior or senior who would like to become a member of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), you need to turn in your contract and $5 membership fee by 3pm Friday. Please email or see Ms. Swords with any questions or concerns.
The Fly Fishing club will meet next Monday at 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Homan’s room (A210). If you are interested in fishing please come by. We will be meeting to learn more about the club, discuss our availability this semester, and maybe even step outside for a quick demonstration. You do not need to bring any equipment. If you are interested but cannot attend, please email Mr. Homan.
The DeLaSalle Parent Association is back for the 2021-22 school year. The Association took last school year off because of the pandemic, but has scheduled a popular and informative speaker for its first meeting of the school year.
Child psychologist, Dr. Teresa Boatman, will speak about “Inviting Student Success Post Pandemic” on Monday, September 20, at 6:30pm in the Schulze Learning Lab (D104). Please note that, generally, the Parent Association meets on the second Monday of each month. However, Dr. Boatman is not available on our regular meeting date. Dr. Boatman’s presentation on the topic was well received by faculty and staff when she presented during DeLaSalle Educator Week before the school year began.
All DeLaSalle parents are members of the Parent Association – and we invite you to join us on the 20th!
Are you interested in helping with lunch time prayers? We are looking for students who are interested in giving short announcements and saying the lunch time prayers over the PA system. Students will attend a WIN time training and will be put on a schedule to spread out days. Sign up here. Questions: Contact Ms. Stecklein in the Lasallian Ministry office.
The DeLaSalle College Advising and Counseling office invites all 12th grade students and parents to learn more about the college planning process at College Planning Night for Seniors and Parents. The program will be offered in English on Wednesday, September 22 and in Spanish on Wednesday, September 29. Each program runs from 6:30-7:30pm in the Schulze Learning Lab (D104).
