Heavenly Father,
Thank you for reminding me through your Word that each day is a gift.
I gain wisdom when I release control of my day to you and trust your guidance in how I spend my time.

Amen

The National Association of College Admission Counselors sponsor national college fairs around the US each year. DeLaSalle usually takes a field trip with our junior students to this event. Last year the National College Fair went virtual and this year the events are also virtual and there are several to choose from. The first event is the Signature College Fair on Sunday from 12:00-5:00pm. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER for this free event and see the others they have calendared. There are over 300 colleges represented at this event.

Students who used this resource last year reported positive feedback about the experience. It is open to all ages and we encourage our students and families to check it out.

On Tuesday, you will meet with your academic mentor during the WIN period. This meeting is a chance to set goals for the school year and sign off on some important paperwork that helps DeLaSalle get money to pay for textbooks and other resources for you. Please bring homework that you can work on quietly if you have finished meeting with your mentor.

Please join us on Wednesday for the annual Parent Back-to-School Night at De. This is a great opportunity to learn from teachers, mentors, and administrators of the academic expectations for each student this year. Check in starts in the Albers Atrium at 5:30pm. The program itself begins at 6:00pm in the Main Gym. Parents will then meet with their son or daughter’s academic mentors and walk through their child’s actual class schedule.
