We are excited to begin our 122nd year on Nicollet Island – and for Islanders of all grades to join the rich tradition of co-curricular excellence at DeLaSalle.
Practices for all fall sports begin on Monday, August 16. Students must complete the following three steps to participate:
- Read, sign, and return the MSHSL Eligibility Brochure
The MSHSL requires any student participating in a student activity to complete an eligibility statement before they participate. At DeLaSalle, the eligibility statement is completed electronically when families submit required back-to-school forms in the summer. The 2021-2022 MSHSL Eligibility Brochure can be found here. To find out more about the MSHSL Bylaws you can view the full handbook here.
- Submit a Valid Sports Physical to the DeLaSalle Activities Office
The MSHSL requires every student athlete must have a current physical on file before they can practice or play in a sport. Current is defined as within three years. The completed sport physical form can be turned in directly to the Student Activities office or may be emailed to email@example.com
All incoming students and students participating in athletics for the first time will need to submit a valid sports physical to the DeLaSalle High School Student Activities Office. If you have not had a sports physical filled out within the last three years, we recommend that you set this appointment with your clinic as soon as possible.
- Register for the sport
Fall sports registration opens July 12, 2021. Click here to find out more and complete your registration form. Remember, you need to have all registration steps completed BEFORE you may start participating. Fall sports start on August 16.
