Welcome to DeLaSalle!

We invite you to learn more about DeLaSalle, a one-of-a-kind Catholic, Lasallian, college preparatory high school at the heart of the Twin Cities.  Amazing things continue to happen on Nicollet Island, largely because of the dedication of our remarkable students, parents, teachers and staff.

Since mid-May we have registered a number of new students for 2020-21.  We are still accepting applications for fall admission, with a limited number of spaces in each grade level.  If your family is ready to become part of a 121-year legacy at DeLaSalle, please click below to make an inquiry to the Admissions Office or to begin the application process.  If you’d prefer, please call us at 612-676-7679 or email at

We are planning for 2020-21, with the same goals we’ve had throughout our history:  to graduate women and men who are intellectually curious and aware, who will lead morally with service and justice.  We are a school.  As such our primary duty is to prepare each student for the next school year, eventually sending graduates to colleges and careers where they will make a difference.

We will be ready for the fall.  Our first day of classes will be August 24, and we have been vigorously planning all spring.  We will know more detail about our approach as the summer unfolds, but our teachers will be ready, our campus will be ready, and all of us look forward to reunifying our students and staff during the upcoming year.

That said, we will be healthy.  If we need to use online/synchronous learning for any portion of the school year, we will again adapt and keep teaching.  Our results from spring semester have proven that DeLaSalle Online School is second to none, that our students were appropriately engaged, challenged, and prepared for the upcoming year.

We are welcoming a wonderful Class of 2024!  It’s our honor to welcome students from across the Twin Cities and every possible background to DeLaSalle.  In response to parent requests, we are excited to offer a brand new orientation program called the Summer Bridging Academy. This three-week program in July and August will include a brush-up on academic skills (likely a bigger need in 2020), an introduction to how we use technology at De, and most importantly, another opportunity for our current staff and students to fully introduce our newest Islanders to each other and to the community.
