The Stations of the Cross are a very intentional way for us to remember, pray, and reflect on Jesus’ suffering and death. Students and staff are invited to pray the Stations of the Cross on Tuesdays during lunches starting on March 3.

Stations will take place at 11:20am (Period 4), 12:13pm (Period 5), and 1:00pm (Period 6).

Thank you to all the students and faculty who contributed to the fundraiser for Australia relief during Winterfest week. Thanks to you, the Student Council was able to send over $800 to the World Wildlife Fund’s Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.

Dr. Kay’s fifth hour brought in the most money – over $200 – and will be rewarded for their efforts with a pizza party.

Thank you again to our community for putting Lasallian virtues into action!

Good luck to the girls’ basketball team as they face Hill-Murray in the section final. The game is Thursday at 7:00pm at East Ridge High School. The Islanders are the top seed in the section; Hill-Murray is the #2 seed.

A collaborative student-group focused on making the college application process easier. We will meet every Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:30pm in the Guidance Office.

The college application process is long and complex. College Connections seeks to make this empowering and collaborative, rather than unhealthy and competitive. In partnership with ADI Ambassadors, Asian students will have the opportunity of accessing national resources for scholarships, free summer programs, and college networking.

On Wednesday, March 4, we will share an overview of the college application process.

We will be meeting to brainstorm ideas to celebrate Women’s History Month on Tuesday, March 3 during all lunches in the Lasallian Ministry Office. If you are interested in helping plan, please get your lunch asap on Tuesday and bring it to Lasallian Ministry. All are welcome!!

Nia is a Spring-Break intensive program where students will learn first hand about the historical representation of African Americans through research and local community immersion experiences. Students will produce original mini-documentaries on a topic in African American history as their final projects in the program.
