Students Receive All School Test Day Results

Students who took a test on all school test day in October have received their test results – and DeLaSalle college advisers have visited classrooms in December and January to explain the results. Please ask your child to share his or her scores with you; they should be conversant about their score from the classroom education they received with their score report. Please contact your child’s college adviser with questions. Additional test-based resources are available here:

Parent Association Welcomes Licensed Psychologist February 10

All DeLaSalle parents are invited to join the Parent Association at its next meeting, on Monday, February 10, as we welcome a licensed psychologist. Dr. Jules Nolan, who is an expert on child development. Dr. Nolan presented to us last year about adolescent behavior around social media and technology, and this year she will share her expertise on adolescent relationships, including dating. The meeting is from 6:30-8:00pm in the Schulze Learning Lab (D104).

Continuous Enrollment and Course Registration for 2020-21
The DeLaSalle Board of Trustees made the decision three years ago to move to a continuous enrollment model. Continuous enrollment streamlines the re-enrollment process and eliminates the need for sending a repetitive re-registration form and a new tuition agreement to families each year.  With almost all students re-enrolling at DeLaSalle year over year, the process of completing multiple forms ends up being unnecessary. A timeline of key dates follows – you can find more information on the 2020-21 registration webpage.
  • February 6: Students in grades 9-10-11 will receive a course request worksheet that can help them plan which required and elective courses they may take in 2020-21. Course registration will be online and will open to students and families on the afternoon of February 7. Parents and students should review the material and plan together. Course requests are due no later than Friday, February 21.
  • February 13: Students will meet with their academic mentors to review course selections.
  • February 24: The TADS financial aid application for 2020-21 is due by this date.
  • February 25: The 2020-21 non-refundable registration deposit of $350.00 per student will be added to your TADS tuition account.  Monthly payers will have this deposit added on your normal tuition payment date in March. For families who have paid tuition in one or two installments, we will add an additional invoice to their agreement and TADS will process the registration deposit from their account.
  • April 1-15: Once TADS has completed their auditing procedures, DeLaSalle will be communicating 2020-21 financial aid and individualized tuition arrangements for each returning family.
  • May: Tuition payments begin for 2020-21, with options for 12 monthly payments or in one or two installments..
