DeLaSalle will observe the celebration of the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in two ways this year.

On Friday, January 17, the school community will gather for a MLK prayer service. The service celebrates King’s life through Scripture readings, prayer, and song. Andre Dukes, pastor at Shiloh Temple International Ministries, will offer a reflection on King’s legacy. And Joe Mason ’21, accompanied by other DeLaSalle students, will share a musical selection.

On Monday, January 21, DeLaSalle will observe the federal holiday of King’s birthday. Classes will not be held that day.
