God of Love,
Your son, Jesus, is your greatest gift to us.
He is a sign of your love.
Help us walk in that love during the weeks of Advent,
As we wait and prepare for his coming.
We pray in the name of Jesus, our Savior.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle – Pray for us!
Live Jesus in our Hearts – Forever!

LEAP is having their annual Christmas Party on Friday, December 13. Please bring your lunch to D104.

New members are welcome if you commit to staying for the whole party and checking out the group, maybe you will want to join LEAP 2nd semester.

Each month, a group of DeLaSalle parents and family members gather on campus to lift up our community in prayer. All parents, family members, friends, and alumni are welcome to participate when the group meets Friday, December 13, from 12:00-1:00pm, on the creative side of the Thies Lab (D207).

We hope students, staff, families and friends at DeLaSalle will feel encouraged by the knowledge that people care about them, are excited for them and are PRAYING FOR THEM! You may submit prayer requests, which may remain anonymous, to prayer boxes located in the main office, Lasallian Ministry, or Theology classrooms.

We have jewelry from Kenya and Ethiopia plus prints, buttons, mugs, and T-shirts for sale in the Florance Center or in Lasallian Ministry during lunches through next Tuesday. Please check out the supply and pick up a nice inexpensive gift for family or friends. All proceeds will benefit our twin school in Kenya. The items will be available in the Lasallian Ministry office until the supply is gone.

To help students put the puzzle pieces together and approach the ACT with confidence, DeLaSalle is offering two optional prep classes for juniors. The classes will give students the opportunity to take 5 full ACTs and review their errors. During class, students will review topics tested on the exam and learn testing skills to improve their pacing and scores.

The exact times and dates for classes are listed here. To register, complete the online Registration Form by the end of the day.

If you have any questions, please see Ms. McAdams

Exposed Brick Theatre (EBT) will create a performance with students from DeLaSalle High School for Social Justice Week in February 2020.

Under the guidance of EBT teaching artists, DLS students will create stories from their own lives that explore key social justice issues – such as gender, immigration, race/ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. EBT artists will weave these stories into a script and the project will culminate in a full production for the DeLaSalle student body. You DO NOT have to perform in order to participate. The time commitment will be during your 44 minute lunch period only on 11 days in January and February. This is open to students in periods 4 & 5 lunches only.

We will have an informational meeting on Thursday, December 19 from 12:15-1:15 p.m. (right after finals) in the Lasallian Ministry office. Please sign up if you are interested.

Student Council wants to know what kind of dress-up days you’d like to see during Winterfest. Please vote now.

Lasallian Ministry is having a fundraiser at Chipotle on Tuesday, December 17 from 4-8 p.m. at the 225 Hennepin Ave East Chipotle to support students attending service and immersion trips.
