Teach me, Lord Jesus, to be generous:
to serve You as You deserve;
to give, not counting the cost;
to fight, not heeding the wounds;
to toil, not asking for rest;
to labor, not seeking any reward,
save that of knowing that we do Your will.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

DeLaSalle will observe the feast of All Saints Day with a school Mass on Friday, November 1, following the first-period class, in the Florance Center. School chaplain Fr. Bruno Nwachukwu will celebrate the Mass. The Mass will incorporate a traditional Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) ritual, as Lasallian Ministry has invited students and community members to bring a framed photo of a loved one who has passed away to be included in an ofrenda table. After the Mass, the photos will be moved to the display case on the second floor of the B building for the month of November.
Students, if you have questions about the ofrenda, please see Mr. Rogers in B215 or in the Lasallian Ministry Office.

The Activities Office is in the process of creating an Athlete Leadership Team. The purpose of this team is to assist in the efforts of improving and sustaining a culture of positive school pride in our Lasallian Catholic tradition; as well as excellence in servant leadership, team cohesiveness, and perseverance. We will discuss a number of topics regarding team culture, school culture, mental toughness, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, etc. These topics will be applied through various activities within the DeLaSalle community. We hope that the students involved in this team will learn to become positive role models and overall influential leaders throughout life.
The application for the Athlete Leadership Team is open to 10th-12th grade students. We plan to meet twice a month, during lunch periods. If you are interested in participating in the Athlete Leadership Team we ask that you fill out the following application by Friday, November 1st. We will select the team members within two weeks of the deadline, you will be notified via email if you are selected.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Keelie Sorensen or Ms. Kai Brinson in the Activities Office.

Students received an email with a registration link and season start dates. As a reminder, DeLaSalle students must have a current physical (current within the last three years) and Minnesota State High School League eligibility statement on file with the Activities Office before they can participate in a sport. DeLaSalle offers winter sports in boys’ and girls’ basketball, JV competition cheer, boys’ and girls’ hockey, sideline cheer, boys’ swimming, and wrestling. Our hockey, wrestling, and swimming teams are co-op programs with other schools.
