Breathe in me O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy.
Strengthen me O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

About Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea: Professor Aronnax, and her assistant, Conseil, are tasked by the US government to discover what kind of creature is attacking ships across the oceans in 1866. Along with Ned Land, king of harpooners, they are quickly introduced to the cause of all the destruction – The uncanny submarine, Nautilus, and it’s captain, the mysterious Nemo. What begins as a hunt becomes an undersea journey where our heroes must battle countless adversaries both human and monstrous along the way, all while witnessing the possibilities of science and the dark depths of the human mind.
Audition Preparation: Twenty Thousand Leagues is an adventure tale and the director is looking for students to bring energy and fun to their audition. No need to prepare as audition sides will be available the day of the audition. If you prefer to prepare a monologue, please limit your piece to two minutes.
