As of mid-July, it is likely that DeLaSalle will begin the 2019-20 school year with another strong enrollment.  For the fourth consecutive year, we will once again be the third-largest Catholic high school in Minnesota when the school year begins.

We thank all the many kind referrals from current families.  Since May 1, we have received more than 70 inquiries for prospective transfer or late ninth-grade enrollment, and more than half of the inquiring families have cited the encouragement and referrals from current parents and students.  That’s also encouraging news.

The school is still accepting applications for the coming year and placing students at all four grade levels as limited space is available.  It’s always an honor and blessing to meet so many great students and families and introduce them to DeLaSalle.

We have been leading family tours, conducting transfer interviews, and registering new students, provided (1) the student meets admission criteria and (2) a course schedule and tuition contract can be built this late into the admission and budget cycles.  While we cannot guarantee anything, we are typically able to accommodate a handful of additional students each summer between mid-July and late-August.

Interested families are encouraged to contact Mike O’Keefe `78, Vice President for Advancement –Enrollment at 612-676-7679 as soon as possible to learn more about DeLaSalle, admission criteria, the application process, and potential placement.  We will do our best to help families join us at De as we lead up to the August 22 New Student Orientation and the first day of school on August 26.
