Thursday, May 2, 2019 (opens in a new window)

Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Lord our God, we seek Your light and pray that You shed Your light upon us so that we live not only on earth but in You, the eternal and living One. May our lives be drawn into eternity, to the praise of Your name, O Father. May we take Your Word to heart so that we can become true men and women, able to bear everything in Your name and to remain in the love You want to give us. Be with us at all times, Lord our God. You are our help and our refuge. Amen.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Elections for the 2019-20 Student Council Executive Board will happen Friday. Students will vote in their Social Studies classes; ninth graders who do not have Social Studies this semester will vote in their Phy Ed class. The Executive Board includes the Student Council President and Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer.

Candidates had the opportunity to record a short video introducing themselves to you and Student Council encourages you to watch the videos before casting your vote. There is no video for President/Vice President as there is only one set of candidates on the ballot in that race.

This summer DeLaSalle will refresh the devices for its IslePad one-to-one program with the purchase of new iPads. Based on feedback from students and faculty, the new devices will include a keyboard with a rugged case. As part of this transition, DeLaSalle is offering students the opportunity to purchase their current iPad Air for $100.00 from May 3rd through May 17th.  This purchase price includes the case and charger that is currently assigned to the student. Please find the iPad Purchase Form here.

Devices that are not purchased will need to be returned on the last day of classes. Charges will be incurred for any damage to the device or charger.

The Student Activities office invites students and families who participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities at DeLaSalle to share their feedback via a program evaluation. Some of you may have already taken the survey this year. If you would be so kind to complete it once more, that would be greatly appreciated. This way we can make sure we have gathered all the necessary information in order to continue to provide quality activity programs at DeLaSalle.

Please contact Nicole Stecklein at 612-676-7608 if you can help. A special thank you to all who participated in a fundraiser for the event April 23 at the Chipotle on East Hennepin Avenue by DeLaSalle.
