January 29-30, 2019 – Online Learning Day

Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, we pray for warmth and peace in these cold, frigid days of winter.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

In today’s news…

DeLaSalle will hold online learning days on both Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30. Students may find course assignments on Canvas by 10:00am each day. Faculty will be available for help by email. All activities and practices are postponed and will be rescheduled. Our Catholic Schools Week/Winterfest celebration will be moved to next week.

Students should update their iPads to the newest version of iOS, 12.1.3. This must be done at home, the update is blocked at school. If the student iPad does not have enough storage to download the update, students should delete personal apps/photos to make sufficient room for the update.

Each year, a group of DeLaSalle parents plans an All Night Graduation Party for seniors following the graduation ceremony. This is not a DeLaSalle sponsored event, but is organized, sponsored and chaperoned by De parents. Perhaps you have a talent that can help make the party a success for our soon-to-be graduates. Join parents at the first planning meeting on Thursday, January 31. All families are invited to participate – as more hands make less work and it is fun to meet other De parents and families. Contact Luann Mishler with questions.
