Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

For all those who have fallen victim to hatred and inhumanity, for those loved ones who are left behind to mourn, for the souls of those whose hearts are cold.
Help us bring Your peace to times of conflict and violence; in our homes, our communities, our nation and our world.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

In addition to all-school liturgies, students in each grade will gather as a class this fall to celebrate Mass. School chaplain, Fr. Bruno Nwachukwu, will celebrate each Mass at nearby Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Class Masses occur for 11th grade on Sept. 11; 10th grade on Sept. 18; and 9th grade on October 2. Students should report to their first hour class and then will dismiss to the Florance Center for a grade level meeting before departing for Mass.

Calling all juniors! Lasallian Ministry needs your ideas and suggestions for activities and service programs this year. Join us today and bring your lunch over during 4th, 5th, and 6th lunch hour for cookies and fun conversation. Lasallian Ministry is located in Christian Brothers Hall next to the Admissions and Advancement offices.

An e-mail has been sent to all students inquiring about what activities you may be interested in. We are asking for all students to go into their e-mail and select any and all activities you may be interested in. This does not mean you have to participate, but you may get some more information from moderators on when and where that activity meets. Act now, as the deadline to complete the form is Friday September 14.

Thank you for voting on Friday for the Homecoming t-shirt design. The winner is the design by Kalina Larsen ‘19. Look for more information later this week about how you can buy your Homecoming t-shirt!

Students can learn more about post secondary options when representatives from dozens of colleges and universities hold on-campus visits at DeLaSalle. Visits are typically held in the Guidance office (B102) and most last the whole class period. You can find which schools are visiting in both the source and on the “College Visits, College Fairs and Events” calendar, available on the School Calendar webpage. Students may sign up for visits in Naviance and must notify their teacher at least one day before the visit by showing the teacher your registration in Naviance. Students are responsible for any work they miss during the college rep visit. The Guidance office will give students passes back to class if the visit does not take the whole period.
