Show summaries:

  • The World’s Greatest Detective – There is a new criminal mastermind in London during the summer of 1890, but the Queen isn’t worried. Her Majesty and the people of London rest easy because Sherlock Holmes is on the case. But don’t be fooled, he’s NOT the greatest detective. In fact, he can barely spell. It is not Dr. Watson, either. He’s not much better. What Holmes and Watson do have is the Doctor’s wife, Mary, and their young housekeeper. Her name is Ms. Elizabeth Hudson, the world’s greatest detective.
  • Evita – This musical is based on the historical story of María Eva Duarte de Perón, a poor Argentinian girl who grows up to be the wife of the president of Argentina, worshipped by her people. As First Lady of Argentina, she aligns herself with the poor, winning herself, and Perón, popularity among Argentinians. Evita becomes a hero to the poor and the working class—and an enemy to the rich. A young and unknown revolutionary, Ché, narrates the rise and fall of the beloved matriarch of the Argentinian people.

Do you have questions? email Mr. Buffington:

Technical Crew positions are also available; please email Mr. Buffington if you are interested.

We will be joining together as a community for our first all school Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday, August 24 immediately following 1st period. This Mass is traditionally celebrated as a way to commence a new year together and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our academics, co-curricular activities, and daily life. Fr. Bruno Nwachukwu, will be our celebrant.Students are asked to leave all personal items, including iPads, secured in their first hour classroom and move to the Florance Center to be seated with your class in a designated location. Please move quickly and quietly and move all the way into the row. No food, drink or gum is allowed during all school assemblies.

Families are reminded that all students who receive financial aid based on need for the 2018-19 school year are required to schedule and complete 10 hours of work-service in return for their grant. (Students who receive only a Presidential Scholarship are not required to complete work-service.) Many students have completed their required work-service during the summer. Most students still need to schedule their 10 hours of work-service during the school year. Parents should contact Kyle Huggar at 612.676.7600 to do so.
