Is Your Family Ready for Back-to-School?

Momentum is building for the start of the 2018-19 school year. This week, we welcomed hundreds of students and parents to our first school orientation. Fall sports practices begin Monday, August 13. There is another school orientation for returning students on Wednesday, August 15, and we host new students and families for orientation on Thursday, August 16.

This helpful Back-to-School webpage will ensure your family is ready for the first day of classes on Monday, August 20.

Complete required back-to-school forms

It is important that each family complete required back-to-school forms for their child as soon as possible, if they have not already done so. DeLaSalle has sent multiple emails from to the primary contact in each household with a link to the forms. Please check your email inbox; you may also look in your junk or spam folder. When completing the forms, please remember to click “Submit” so that we receive your forms.

Participate in a required school orientation and collect school-issued iPad

The back-to-school email also includes important information about required school orientations for new and returning students. The remaining school orientation for returning students is Wednesday, August 15, from 12:00-7:00pm.

This program will include a Welcome Cookout that begins at 5:30pm and continues with presentations from various administrators, explanations of school practices and protocols, iPad distribution and more at 6:30pm.

Limited Spots Still Available for 2018-19 School Year

DeLaSalle is still accepting applications for the coming year.  Vice President for Enrollment, Mike O’Keefe `78, and Associate Director of Admission, Lourdes Bunay `11, have been receiving inquiries, leading family tours, conducting transfer interviews, and registering new students, provided the student meets admission criteria and a course schedule and tuition contract can be built this late into the admission cycle. Interested families are encouraged to contact either O’Keefe (612-676-7679) or Bunay (612-676-7665) as soon as possible to learn more about DeLaSalle, admission criteria, the application process, and potential placement.
