Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, bless our graduates: that they excel in everything they do, and that they carry the love of Christ with them always. Amen

In today’s news…

The DeLaSalle Class of 2018 – with 175 students – will graduate Thursday, May 24 during Commencement Exercises at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Commencement will begin promptly at 6:45pm. Seniors must be present on the east side of the Basilica by 6:10pm. DeLaSalle welcomes Jeff Cavins, a dynamic public speaker and author, who created the popular Great Adventure Bible Study series, as our Commencement speaker. Seniors are required to attend graduation practice on Wednesday, May 23 at 9:00am at the Basilica of Saint Mary. The practice will last one-and-a-half to two hours and seniors will receive their cap, gown, and graduation tickets during the practice. Thanks to the hard work of Basilica staff, DeLaSalle will again livestream the graduation ceremony. Click here to watch.

Weather permitting, DeLaSalle will set up a black backdrop with the school name and logo on the west side of the steps of the Basilica that will be available for graduates and families to use for post-ceremony photos. A staff photographer will be present to assist as needed.

There are still yearbooks available to purchase at $60. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please see Ms. Bryson-Tucker in the IT Office.

There are no classes on Friday, May 25, following the Class of 2018 graduation or on Monday, May 28, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The school will be closed on Memorial Day.

Final assessments are scheduled over three half days May 29, 30, and 31 for underclass students. You can find the finals schedule here. All students will return their iPad after their last final.

Students are reminded that they should be dressed in uniform for final exams on May 29th-31st.

All unclaimed lost and found items will be donated on Friday, June 1st. Stop by the Deans’ Office B-209 to check for any personal items you have lost recently.

High school students are trained in leadership skills and then help put on the camps for the younger students. Both groups have an extraordinary experience and grow from it. There is a cost of $200, but they have scholarship funding available. Please read this flyer, for more information.
