  • Senior Final Exams: Seniors are excused from periods 1-4 today. Senior final assessments are scheduled in periods 5-8 today.
  • Senior iPads: Seniors will return their iPads today, after their last final. Seniors, you will find the iPad Collection Checklist in the Islanders Course under Technology in Canvas. Please print out a copy and bring it with you to iPad Collection today in D104.
  • Senior Uniform Donation Drop-Off:The Deans Office would like to invite graduating seniors to donate gently used and clean uniform items they no longer need. Items can be dropped in the main office at any time – there is no deadline for donations. Future Islanders thank you!

The end of the school year is near, so let’s celebrate! Current DeLaSalle students are invited to an end-of-year party and yearbook signing tonight, from 5:00-8:00pm on Christian Brothers’ Plaza and LL Gray Gym. Big Bell ice cream truck will be on site with treats available for purchase. We will be grilling as well, compliments of the Student Council. Students who bought a yearbook may pick up their copy. Students can also show off their karaoke skills, play lawn games, or even dunk their classmates or favorite teacher in a dunk tank.

This is a last call for students who are completing the blended CPR/AED course to pay their $5 to Ms. Smith in the business office and to set up your test out with Mr. C. Please set up your test out by today.

Sales started Wednesday for the Metro Transit Student Summer Pass, which provides students with unlimited rides on buses or light rail this summer. Passes cost $29 and are valid June 1-September 4 from 5:00am-10:00pm. It’s perfect for summer jobs, sports leagues and all the other fun that summer brings. Click here for more about how to buy a pass. All you need to purchase a pass is the school name (DeLaSalle) and the student ID. If you’d rather use cash, you can buy a Summer Student Pass at a Metro Transit Service Center. Come hear a free concert of Sr. Duea’s musical compositions on Monday, May 21st, at 7:00pm in the band room. The concert will be about 1 hour and 10 minutes long and includes Sr. Duea on piano, Mr. Englund on Cello, Isaace Blaine-Sauer on violin, and Mr. Dirlam on saxophones. There will also be a surprise special guest.

The last day of after school snack service will be Wednesday, May 23.

On Wednesday, May 23, the evening before graduation, we will gather for our Baccalaureate Mass, Senior Awards, and Reception at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Gym.  Seniors are asked to arrive by 6:15 and report to the LL Gray Gym to line up for the processional.

Students who are 16 years or older are invited to volunteer with People Serving People’s Summer Program. This program helps families who are staying in the shelter. Time commitment would be a minimum of 2-4 hours per week volunteering in the early childhood classrooms. If you are interested, please contact Tom Golembeck via email.

Join the hundreds of students who build their skills and have fun learning new activities during one of nine Camp Islander camps offered through DeLaSalle this June and July.
