Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle,
our father and founder,
help us to continue to have a great love for the education of the poor
and the working class, a love for Sacred Scripture and a continual
awareness of the presence of God.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

    • Big Base game after school – come and join us for some community fun! All Are Welcome!

Many visitors will be at DeLaSalle today because of our Founder’s Day celebration and Alumni Association scholarship breakfast. Several guests may park in the main school parking lot, which may make it difficult for permitted drivers to find a spot. We apologize for the inconvenience but thank you for understanding and welcoming our guests to DeLaSalle.

Today, we will gather in the Florance Center between first and second period to celebrate our annual Founder’s Day Mass. Founder’s Day is an event dedicated to recognizing the founder of the Christian Brothers and namesake of our school, St. John Baptist DeLaSalle.  We will take time to honor two staff members with the Lasallian Educator Award and the Liemandt Excellence in Teaching Award.

The theme for this year’s Prom is “Bright Lights, Big City-Hollywood”. The price for a ticket is $85. Ticket sales end today. You can purchase tickets online or from Ms. Smith in the Business Office with cash or check payment (please make checks payable to DeLaSalle High School, with “Prom” listed in the check memo).

Dear Islanders,

One of the Technovation teams at DeLaSalle is in the process of creating an app that would organize the current National Honor Society tutoring system. Team members would greatly appreciate it if you could take this survey that would provide input and allow you to voice any issues you have with the current system.

Sincerely,

DeLaSalle Technovation Team

Students who participate in after school activities can get a healthy snack starting next Monday. Islanders who stay for after school tutoring, athletics, and activities qualify for the snack, which will rotate and include options like fruit, crackers, milk, juice, cheese sticks, and granola bars. You can also buy grab ‘n go items like chips, sports drinks and leftover a la carte items from lunch. Starting Monday, April 30, the Cafe will be open Mondays-Thursdays from 3:00-3:30pm.

Join the hundreds of students who build their skills and have fun learning new activities during one of nine Camp Islander camps offered through DeLaSalle this June and July. Registration is underway for Camp Islander 2018, with camps for boys’ and girls’ basketball, cheer, football, boys’ and girls’ soccer, tennis, theatre, and volleyball. Click here for more information and to register.

Help the DeLaSalle Parent Association celebrate our terrific staff on the annual Staff Appreciation Day! All teachers, administrators, and support staff are recognized on this day. Plans call for a Welcome and Continental Breakfast for the staff when they arrive for the day, as well as a tasty lunch. Each staff member also receives a thank you gift. A committee of current parents — including Parent Association co-chairs, Jackie Schluter Johnson and Luann Mishler, –has been organizing the event. Now, we extend a call for other parents to help with the event.

TO VOLUNTEER OR DONATE: Click here to access an online form where you can indicate how you may wish to volunteer or contribute to the day. Many parents enjoy spending part of the day with each other – and all for a good cause! If you have questions, please contact Parent Association co-chairs, Jackie Schluter Johnson or Luann Mishler. If you prefer to make a cash donation toward the cost of meals and treats for the staff, please send your donation to Parent Association staff liaison, Mike O’Keefe, at DeLaSalle.
