Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

We pause and remember that it is Jesus Who is our Good Shepherd. We know of His presence and love in our lives if only we cam quiet ourselves to take note of Him. Celebrate His presence among us. Come, Lord Jesus, and continue to light up our lives.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

On today’s calendar…

PANCAKES, FRUIT TOPPING, MILK AND FRUIT JUICE

PIZZA, HAMBURGERS, TOSSED SALADS

In today’s news…

De Parents in Prayer invites DeLaSalle parents and family members to its next prayer meeting, which has been rescheduled from December 15 to Monday, December 18, from 1:45-2:45pm in the Florance Center. The group gathers together once a month to pray over the requests and praises of the DeLaSalle community. This is a very welcoming experience where blessings are not only given, but also received. We hope to see you there. Contact Jackie Schluter Johnson with questions.

Now that winter is upon us students should review several winter-related uniform expectations:

  1. For warmth students should wear a uniform sweater or sweatshirt.
  2. Students may not wear a long-sleeved shirt under a short-sleeved uniform shirt.
  3. Coats and jackets, gloves, scarves, and any other outdoor attire is not permitted during the school day. This applies to DeLaSalle spirit and team apparel unless otherwise directed by staff. Items must be kept in the student’s locker.
  4. Pants, shirts, shorts and skirts should not be rolled at the cuff, sleeve or waist. Skirts should reach the top of the knee – no more than 2” above the knee.
  5. Shoes, including laces, and socks must be predominately black, brown, white, gray, or a mix of these colors. Additionally, students should be aware of food and drink expectations:
  6. Unless special permission is granted, food and drink may not be brought into classrooms; however, individual teachers may permit water in clear bottles in the classroom.

As the end of the semester approaches please take time to check the Lost and Found in the Dean’s Office B-209 for your missing personal items. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the semester.
