There has been a conflict with schedules for our nursing home visit. We will not be going this Wednesday. We will be going in the spring. Thank you for making Christmas cards! Please be sure to check canvas for events coming up to get NAHS hours.

As we begin the Advent season December 3, we reflect on how prepared we are to celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas Day. DeLaSalle students may receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation or meet with a priest during their Theology class on either Wednesday, December 6 or Monday, December 11. School chaplain, Fr. Joe Kuharski, will be present and DeLaSalle will also welcome other visiting priests to the Island.

Want to start your week out well with a short 15 minute prayer?  All are welcome to come to the Chapel above the Campus Ministry office for “In the Upper Room” morning prayer most Thursdays at 7:50 a.m.

TableTop games Club will meet on Thursday at 3:15 in B307. Can you guide your monster to become the King of Tokyo? Watch Wil Wheaton’s TableTop episode for a rules introduction.

On Friday, we will gather as a school community to celebrate Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This is a day we commemorate Mary, the blessed Mother of Jesus, who was conceived without original sin. Our celebrant for Mass is our chaplain Fr. Joe Kuharski.

There will be a Double Dash Tournament on Friday after school. Please email Brother Ryan to sign up. This tournament is FREE; If you are able to bring a snack or pop to share, please let Brother Ryan know in your email.

An instructor will be here to teach American Sign Language to interested students Tuesday Dec. 12, from 7:30-8:20 a.m. in room B215. You will be learning sign language to The First Noel and will perform at our Christmas Prayer Service on Thursday, Dec. 14. Anyone is welcome to participate. Please send an e-mail to Ms. Hodapp if you have any questions.

Interested in coding and learning to build an app? Join the DeLaSalle coding club. Informational meeting Wednesday Dec 13th in the Thies Creative Lab. Come and find out more information and join a fun group of students interested in developing apps. For more information, please contact Ms. Roggow or Mr. Pearson.

If you would like to help serve the evening meal at Sharing and Caring Hands next Monday Dec. 11, please email Miss Barry. You will need to be able to miss the last 20 minutes of your 8th hour class.

Any interested students, staff and parents are cordially invited to go Christmas Caroling at Catholic Eldercare on Monday, Dec. 12 from 4:00-5:00.  Please sign up here to participate.
