Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

In faith, Lord, we believe that:
Your work is our work and we are a vital part of it.
We want to be Lasallians without limits.
We thank you for having called and sent us again and again,
to live the promise of vitality,
to live our vision, our passion, and our future
for the mission you have entrusted to us.
Amen.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.
Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

In today’s news…

IT’S OFFICIAL: We have Respect Life Month in October of each year. “The Church,” Pope Benedict said, “is called to proclaim the gift of life, to serve life, and to promote a culture of life.” So we remember all forms and all ages of life that God has given us.

RESPECT LIFE MONTH: FOR THE BABIES!  What’s the bottom line? These babies need lotion, wipes, bottom cream. Oh, what a difference your donation can make! Bring items to the Atrium all month.

This week we will be celebrating and honoring the rich diversity that is present at DeLaSalle High School and in the world.  It is our hope that the events and programs that are planned for the week will provide a springboard into a yearlong and life long appreciation of the beauty that exists in every aspect of diversity.

Today our 10th graders will have classroom workshops on equity and inclusion in their English Classes.

We have our first out of uniform day Today. Students can purchase out of uniform wrist bands before school. Wristband sales will help support the Student Council, and a portion of the proceeds will go to our sister school in Kenya.

Students can meet representatives from different service agencies in the Twin Cities during the annual Lasallian Ministry Service Fair, held during lunches at booths in the hallway by the Florance Center and in Albers Atrium. Students may gather information, sign up to volunteer, and work toward completing their 60-hour Christian Service graduation requirement.
