DeLaSalle Hosts UNITE’s Arrive Alive Tour Distracted Driving Event

UNITE’s Arrive Alive Tour® program visits DeLaSalle on Saturday, September 16 from 9:00am-3:00pm. The event will be located in the north parking lot (immediately behind the press box). The program uses a high-tech simulator, impact video, and a number of other resources to educate the public about the dangers of texting while driving and intoxicated driving. The simulator allows participants to experience the potential consequences of impaired and distracted driving in a controlled environment.

This program is sponsored by Farmers Insurance Agents Lisa Klaers and Patty Griffin. Both agencies are local to the Minneapolis area. Lisa Klaers is a DeLaSalle alumnus and Patty Griffin has family members who are alumni.
