As we shared at Back-to-School Night, three professional development sessions will impact the first semester school calendar.
Classes will not be in session on Monday, October 23, as DeLaSalle staff participate in professional development about racial justice in schools with other Lasallian educators in the Twin Cities. The presenter will be Dr. Marcia Chatelain, Associate Professor at Georgetown University, who will lead a seminar on Leading our Catholic Schools toward Racial Justice: Overcoming our Fears and Using our Values.
There will be a 2-hour late start on Tuesday, October 31, the day following our Fall Open House for Prospective Students and Families. As a reminder, on days with a 2-hour late start, classes start at 10:30am instead of 8:30am, and morning transportation routes also run two hours later than normal.
A 2-hour late start will also be held on Thursday, November 9, following our Academic Awards and National Honor Society induction ceremony.

The app does not show real-time location but is accurate within 3-4 minutes. As a remember, students should always be at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
