Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn.    Isaiah 61:1-2

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Parents, please join us tonight from 6:00-8:45pm for Back-to-School Night to learn from teachers, mentors, and administrators of the academic expectations for each student this year. You will meet your child’s academic mentor and follow your child’s class schedule to learn about course goals, content, and assignments from your child’s teachers.

Student athletes who drive to school and who have practice, a meet, or team picture after school today should move their vehicle from the main school parking lot to the Nicollet Island Pavilion overflow lot (the parking lot just south of the Hennepin Avenue Bridge) before the practice, meet, or photo. This will provide more spaces for parents who will attend Back-to-School Night. Thank you for your cooperation.

Sign up for WOW (Girls Book Group) Women of Words (W.O.W) is a book club for female students at DeLaSalle led by Ms. Roggow and Mrs. Post. We will read 2-4 books in the course of a school year and meet during lunches to discuss. Last year we read, How it Went Down, Orleans, and Hidden Figures. Sign up by clicking here. The deadline to register is Sept. 11th.

Today in your English classes, the Lasallian Ministry team will be present to walk you through the survey below. All DeLaSalle students are considered Lasallian Youth as part of a worldwide Lasallian movement. We hope you will consider participating on some level. Please wait to complete this survey in your English class.
