The DeLaSalle Cycling Club will ride after school tomorrow. Come enjoy some beautiful spring weather as we ride along a bike boulevard on 5th Street SE. We will explore the Dinkytown neighborhood and then return to campus. If you picked up a waiver in the past, please get it signed by your parent or guardian and bring it back this week.

Students are encouraged to bring their bike to school that day and to lock it to a bike rack outside the building. All participants will be required to wear a helmet in order to ride. We will meet in A206 from 3:15-3:30pm and will ride from 3:30-4:30pm.

This Saturday, we will host our 17th annual Starry Night prom for people with disabilities. More than 1,400 guests from all over the greater Twin Cities area will enjoy an evening of music, fun, and dancing.  Over 200 DeLaSalle students have been involved in the planning, preparation and training that is required for such an event.  This is entirely volunteer, no Christian Service hours are awarded for participation – so these students deserve to be applauded.  Due to the importance of the training and preparation, only those students who have participated on the committee are allowed to attend.

You are invited to join us for prayer in the Upper Room school chapel on Monday at 7:45. The chapel is located on the second floor of Christian Brothers’ Hall, which you can access via the Lasallian Ministry office. All are welcome.

Students with a negative account balance may not purchase any items from the Cafe. Click here for instructions on how to check your child’s account balance or deposit money electronically to their account.

Special Olympics is looking for high school students to help them out with their Track & Field event on Saturday, May 13, at Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis.  Get some of your service hours done while doing good!  Click here to get more information and sign up.

Students are invited to an evening information program with the admission representatives of Dartmouth College, Northwestern University, Princeton University, University of California-Berkeley, and Vanderbilt University on Sunday, May 21 at 7:00pm at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel (7800 Normandale Boulevard). Please click here to register.
