Wednesday April 19, 2017

Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Grant us wisdom to know what we must do,
the will to want to do it,
the courage to undertake it,
the perseverance to continue to do it,
and the strength to complete it. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us.

Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Please check food labels to ensure the food is not made with or contains any nuts. We ask you to keep this in mind because of a classmate who has a severe food allergy.
  • Please leave all books, bags, purses, headphones, iPads, cell phones, etc. at home or school. These items are not allowed on retreat.

Be a leader on Student Council!  Executive Board nomination forms are now available (in the Main Office and B302).  The Student Council Executive Board consists of 5 positions – Student Council president and vice president (who run together), secretary, treasurer, and public relations officer.

The President must be a senior in the fall of 2017; the other positions can be juniors or seniors in the fall of 2017. You do not need to be on Student Council to run for an executive board position.  If you are elected, you will automatically be on Student Council and do not have to run in the class representative elections.

Nomination forms are due to Mr. Sczepanski on Wednesday, April 26.  Please see Mr. Sczepanski, Mr. Hank or Mr. Zavitz with any questions.

Help us take care of Nicollet Island and be good neighbors at our 10th annual Island Clean-Up Day. Help us rake, bag and hunt for “treasures”. We will also have a few gardening projects. Join us after your hard work for a free BBQ hosted by the Parent Association. Last year, nearly 40 Islanders volunteered and collected 45 bags of trash.
