Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Come, Lord Jesus, and be with us in our school.
Guide our teachers,
guide our parents,
and lead our students
to recognize you in all people. Amen

Students, please update to iOS 10.2.1 which was released last week. This must be done at home, it cannot be done on the school network. This newest update fixes the bugs that affect apps such as Kindle, Google Translate and Quizlet. The update also improves the security of the device.

If you need help updating, there are videos available in the Islanders Course through Canvas or stop by the IT Office and they can help.

Lasallian Ministry meets this morning in room D117 from 7:30-8:20am. All are welcome.

The 2016-17 season of the TableTop Games Club will kick off today in B307.  We will play King of Tokyo.  Join us and see if you are the monster who has what it takes to rule Tokyo.  (View Wil Wheaton’s TableTop episode about King of Tokyo for a rules introduction.)

Sign ups for skiing on Friday are available here. A bus will leave De at 3:30pm and return around 8:30pm.

The Islanders varsity boys’ basketball will host Sioux City (Iowa) East in a non-conference game at the Target Center on Saturday, February 4 at 12:30pm. Tickets are on sale now for $15 and include admission to the De game, as well as the Timberwolves home game that night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Please visit the Student Activities office to buy your ticket today!

Come to the next NET LIfeline Mass on Saturday, February 4 at the NET Center in West St. Paul. Join a thousand students from across the Twin Cities who are looking for a Mass with GREAT music and a message that is geared to them. This NET Mass will be said by Archbishop Hebda.

Please sign up here to let us know you are coming. And stop by Ms. Kocourek or Mrs. Wojda’s room to grab a permission slip and bring it to the event. We are still deciding if we will stay for the talk, and then go out for pizza, or if we will go out for pizza right after Mass. Indicate your preference on the sign-up form.

DeLaSalle provides transportation to the Mass. We’ll leave from the De parking lot at 4:30pm and stop at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in St. Paul at 4:50pm to pick up any students waiting there.

Any juniors or seniors interested in helping with organizing this year’s Prom, please email Ms. Brinson before Friday, February 24. Ms. Brinson will send an email to confirm your participation and to discuss our first meeting and next steps. See Ms. Brinson with any questions.

Parents interested in planning the party for seniors after graduation will meet for the first time Wednesday, February 8. The meeting is at 7:00pm in D104. All are welcome! Contact Mary Kate Engel with questions.
