DeLaSalle families may now apply for financial aid for the 2017-18 school year. Click here to submit an application to Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS). The deadline to submit an application is Monday, February 27, 2017. You can find more information about financial aid here
As one of the Catholic high schools of the Twin Cities, DeLaSalle uses TADS as the processing company for financial aid applications. One application is required per family. If families have questions about completing the TADS application, they are encouraged to contact TADS Customer Service support directly.
DeLaSalle thanks its families for meeting this very important February 27 deadline.
This program is surely one of the hallmarks of DeLaSalle. The school is proud to maintain its historic, Lasallian legacy of providing education to young men and women regardless of personal financial circumstances. Founded in 1900 in large part to provide English language skills and Catholic education to the rapidly-growing number of immigrant families moving into Minneapolis from Europe, DeLaSalle sustains its mission to this very day. We provide high-quality, values-based education for a student body reflective of the socio-economic breadth and rich diversity of the community. We are a Catholic, Lasallian, college preparatory, urban, diverse high school with kids from every neighborhood and every background – and we celebrate these attributes every day when we see the faces of our students.
Approximately half of our students pay a full tuition, and others pay a reduced tuition with grants determined by analysis provided through the TADS application. We set out to balance our budget each year, but we are a separately incorporated non-profit. No outside group subsidizes DeLaSalle’s operating budget in any way. This is yet another reason why a family’s support of activities such as the Christian Brothers’ Gala in October and/or commitment to working in the Islander Foundation program is so very much appreciated. We depend on partnering with our hard-working parents to make this work. We are all in this together, and that’s why we’re appreciative of parents meeting application deadlines and staying current with charged tuition. Thank you!
We are heartened that, primarily due to the wonderful development support of our alumni, friends, and many parents, a DeLaSalle tuition is still less expensive than at most Catholic high schools in the Twin Cities. We appreciate the sacrifice that parents are making to send their sons and daughters to DeLaSalle, and we know that sacrifice to be even transformative in its broader lessons of what community can truly be.
