Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, relieve my anxiety as I begin my final exams today and help me demonstrate all that I have learned. Amen.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Students will return their school-issued iPad on Friday. Most students will return their iPad after their 6th hour final. Freshmen should report to the Main Gym, sophomores to the LL Gray Gym, and juniors to the Florance Center.

All students must turn in their school issued iPad with the school issued iPad case. The iPad Return Checklist must be completed, signed by a parent/guardian, and turned in with the iPad on Friday. It is important to note that you will be charged the deductible/repair cost for broken devices as well as replacement cost for any missing items. Families that chose the Deposit Protection Plan will be charged for all damages to the iPad and accessories not covered under warranty. If you are not returning to DeLaSalle for the 20162017 school year, you must turn in your charging/sync cable and power adapter.

In summary, bring the following to the assigned area between 11:00am 12:30pm on Friday:

  • iPad in school issued iPad case
  • Completed and signed iPad Return Checklist
  • Charging/sync cable and power adapter if not returning next year

Remember, in order to park in the school parking lot, you must display a valid parking permit. A limited number of student parking permits are available in the main office and are valid through Friday. Permits cost $20. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see Mr. Shelstad or Mr. Lemon in the main office with any questions.

Metro Transit is offering a Student Summer Pass for $30 that provides unlimited rides on buses or light rail for students this summer. Passes are valid from 5:00am-10:00pm from June 1-September 6. It’s perfect for summer jobs, sports leagues and all the other fun that summer brings. Click here for more about how to buy a pass. All you need to purchase a pass is the school name (DeLaSalle) and the student ID.

The Physical Education locker rooms will be locked during the school day for the rest of the school year.

If you bought a yearbook but did not pick it up at the Farewell Bonfire, please stop in to the LTC and pick up your book today.

Summer time is a great opportunity to get involved in Christian Service.  Many organizations have been contacting us to set up summer assistance.  Please see Mr. Hallman for ideas of places you can serve.  If you complete an activity during the summer you may wait until the fall to turn in your completed validation forms.  All validation forms are available here.

Explore Engineering Day at the University of St Thomas on August 9. Do you have an interest in engineering?   You could see what topics we could explore and get a tour of the campus.  See Mr Pearson if you are interested. Here is a link to a sample schedule of the day.
