Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Summer time is a great opportunity to get involved in Christian Service.  Many organizations have been contacting us to set up summer assistance.  Please see Mr. Hallman for ideas of places you can serve.  If you complete an activity during the summer you may wait until the fall to turn in your completed validation forms.  All validation forms are available here.

A limited number of student parking permits are available in the main office. Permits cost $20 and are valid through the end of the school year on May 27. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see Mr. Shelstad or Mr. Lemon in the main office with any questions.

If you missed the cross country meeting this morning, please see Coach Pearson as soon as possible.

The retreat team application date has been extended. Please complete the essay and send it to Ms. Hodapp no later than Tuesday, May 24. Click here to find the application.

The De Parents in Prayer group, which is sponsored by the Parent Association, will hold its final gathering of the 2015-16 school year on Monday at 8:30am in the Florance Center. The group will lift up the De community in prayer. You may submit prayer requests at boxes located in Theology classrooms, the main office, and Lasallian Ministry. Prayer requests may remain anonymous. We hope you will feel encouraged by the knowledge that people care about you, are excited for you and are PRAYING FOR YOU! All parents, family members, friends, and alumni are welcome. Contact Jackie Schluter-Johnson with questions.

Hearts and Hammers is a non-profit organization which provides exterior house painting and light repairs of needy elderly and people with disabilities allowing them to continue to live in their home and improve the communities they live in. Volunteer Teams are needed to support the work on program day. Eight to 10 students are needed to volunteer on Saturday June 4 from 8am to 12:00pm. Please contact Ms. Cindy Schlafmann by Thursday if you can help.

St. Kate’s is hosting their first Encuentro, an exciting opportunity for young women in high school from diverse backgrounds to engage in intercultural dialogue, communal prayer, theological coursework, reflection and local service projects. This FREE weeklong camp is July 24-31 for young women entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade.

During the week, students will have the experience of living on a college campus – dorms, campus dining, meeting new people. DeLaSalle students can earn up to 30 Christian Service Hours for their participation. Please see Ms. Hodapp in Campus Ministry for more information.
