A limited number of student parking permits are available in the main office. Permits cost $20 and are valid through the end of the school year on May 27. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see Mr. Shelstad or Mr. Lemon in the main office with any questions.

Seniors and their families will join the school tonight in celebrating the end of high school at a Baccalaureate Mass. The Mass begins at 6:30pm in the Main Gym. The Senior Awards ceremony and Alumni Association-hosted induction ceremony follows.

Anyone interested in playing girls’ soccer next fall should plan on meeting during lunches today. The location is to be determined.

Anyone interested in running as part of Cross Country this fall should meet Thursday at 8:00am in Coach Pearson’s room, A202.

The De Parents in Prayer group, which is sponsored by the Parent Association, will hold its final gathering of the 2015-16 school year on Monday at 8:30am in the Florance Center. The group will lift up the De community in prayer. You may submit prayer requests at boxes located in Theology classrooms, the main office, and Lasallian Ministry. Prayer requests may remain anonymous. We hope you will feel encouraged by the knowledge that people care about you, are excited for you and are PRAYING FOR YOU! All parents, family members, friends, and alumni are welcome. Contact Jackie Schluter-Johnson with questions.

Hearts and Hammers is a non-profit organization which provides exterior house painting and light repairs of needy elderly and people with disabilities allowing them to continue to live in their home and improve the communities they live in. Volunteer Teams are needed to support the work on program day. Eight to 10 students are needed to volunteer on Saturday June 4 from 8am to 12:00pm. Please contact Ms. Cindy Schlafmann by Thursday if you can help.

St. Kate’s is hosting their first Encuentro, an exciting opportunity for young women in high school from diverse backgrounds to engage in intercultural dialogue, communal prayer, theological coursework, reflection and local service projects. This FREE weeklong camp is July 24-31 for young women entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade. 

During the week, students will have the experience of living on a college campus – dorms, campus dining, meeting new people. DeLaSalle students can earn up to 30 Christian Service Hours for their participation. Please see Ms. Hodapp in Campus Ministry for more information.

Students and Parents! What better time to start thinking about colleges than during the summer! Minnesota Private Colleges Week is June 20-24 and includes introductory campus tours and informational meetings at the 17 private college campuses across the state. In order to maximize the number of visits you can attend, sessions are held twice daily, from from 9:00-11:45am and again from 1:45-4:30pm. Click here to register and find more information.

Iowa Private Colleges Week is August 1-5. Iowa has 25 private colleges available for you to tour, visit with coaches and professors, chat with current students and learn all about their academic and social opportunities.
