Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, thank you for the teachers and staff who work at DeLaSalle to provide us with a quality education. May we appreciate all that they do today and every day. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

DeLaSalle will celebrate National College Decision Day today. Seniors may be out of uniform tomorrow as long as they wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt that represents their future plans after DeLaSalle. Jeans are also acceptable. During lunches on that day, seniors are welcome to sign a board with their name and which school they are attending and get a treat. We will also announce scholarships that students have earned.

Reminder to pick up your Founders Day 5k Registration packet before or after school on Friday, April 29. Mr. Benson has challenged all participating students in foot race – if you can beat his clocked time, Mr Benson will buy you ice cream!

The Spirit Stick is up for grabs today as we gather for a Pepfest to honor spring sports after 8th hour in the Main Gym. Let us hear your battle cry!

Two DeLaSalle teams – the Koding Koalas & Nyoom – will compete Sunday at Appalooza at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Since January, the teams have been working to develop an Android app, business plan and videos to promote their app. Koding Koalas app is designed to help students de-stress while studying, team Nyoom built an app to promote healthy eating. This event is a Regional Pitch event with girls from the metro area. Teams have 8 minutes to introduce themselves and pitch the app that they built. The winners will move directly to the semi-final round of judging.
