In order to meet with a college rep, you must register for the visit through your Naviance account and notify your teacher at least one day before the visit. You may show your teacher your iPad with the registration on Naviance as your pass. Remember, you are responsible for any work you miss during your visit with the college rep.

The GREEN Team sponsors today’s Out of Uniform Day. Wristbands were on sale for $2 before school. You must have bought and be wearing a wristband to be out of uniform.

Are you ready for the summer to be here? Then why not play summer’s best sport with your fellow Islanders, chess of course! Chess Club will meet again after school today until 4:00pm in A204. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and if you just have time to stop by and play one quick game that’s fine. See Ms. Kocourek or Anders Jenson with any questions.

The DeLaSalle Cafe is a pre paid lunch account system. Starting on Monday, April 25, students with a negative account balance will not be able to purchase any items in the Cafe. All students who have a negative balance, including those who receive free or reduced lunch benefits, will be offered a bag lunch with a cheese sandwich, fruit and milk.

Parents can manage a child’s cafeteria account through the LunchTime payment portal. Click here for instructions on how to create an account. The DeLaSalle Cafe webpage also includes instructions about how to deposit money electronically into your child’s account and how to view your child’s transactions and balance. Questions? If you want to offer a prayer intention, you can submit a prayer request via boxes in the main office, Lasallian Ministry office, or in your Theology classroom. The De Parents in Prayer group, which is sponsored by the Parent Association, will lift up all of these prayers when it meets on Friday from 1:45-2:45pm in the Florance Center. We hope you will feel encouraged by the knowledge that people care about you, are excited for you and are PRAYING FOR YOU! All parents, family members, friends, and alumni are welcome. Questions? Celebrate School Library Media Month and enter the library trivia contest for a chance to win an iTunes gift card.  Watch The Source every day this week for a different question.  Stop in the library to submit your answer for each day.  Winners will be announced the following week.

The DeLaSalle Onyx Step Team will compete this Saturday at 3pm in the Soul Steppin’ Scholars Stomp Down at South High School. Come see as they perform their “School Daze – The Recess” routine. Tickets cost $10 and you can buy them in the Lasallian Ministry office.

The Dunrovin Retreat Center in the Twin Cities is offering a summer leadership training camp. It is an opportunity to both earn Christian Service hours and build your leadership skills. On Saturday, April 30, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of the Links, Incorporated will present the “YOUNG WOMEN’S ISSUES FORUM: An African-American Perspective” at Minneapolis Community and Technical College from 10:00am-3:00pm.
