Juniors and seniors can now buy tickets for Prom. This year’s Prom is on Saturday, April 30th from 7:30pm-12:00am at the Nicollet Island Pavilion and the theme is “Diamonds are Forever.” Tickets cost $65 before April 22 and $75 after. You can buy a ticket in the Main Office. Ticket sales end April 27. Please see Ms. Brinson with any questions.

All DeLaSalle students are invited to participate on the committee that organizes Starry Night Prom by attending the mandatory meetings. The event is a prom for people in the greater community living with disabilities and will be held here at DeLaSalle on Saturday, May 7.

All participants must attend a meeting on Thursday, April 7 – either in the morning from 7:30-8:20am OR during your lunch. As always, please pick up your lunch and come promptly to A219.

Lacrosse players will have a shuttle that will leave from the front of school at 3:15pm.

Do you need to get in touch with your prehistoric self or relieve the tension of approaching final exams? Atlatl Society begins today, from 3:15-4:15pm in room B302. All are welcome! Please see Mr. Sczepanski if you have any questions.

Good luck to the DeLaSalle Robotics team, which competes this weekend in the Minnesota North Star Regional First Robotics Competition at the University of Minnesota’s Mariucci Arena.

Are you missing your spring break time? Then why not play some chess with your fellow Islanders to cheer yourself up? Chess Club will meet again this Thursday after school until 4:00pm in A204. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and if you just have to time to stop by and play one quick game that’s fine. See Ms. Kocourek or Anders Jenson with any questions.

Come play Scrabble on the first Friday of each month. Join us after school today in Ms. Sullivan’s room, A206. This is very informal and you can come when you can.

DeLaSalle has an opportunity to pursue a boys’ swimming team. If you are interested, please sign up in the Student Activities office.

Also, if you are interested in the Fishing Club, sign up in the Student Activities office. All are welcome to participate.

Register now for the summer Health/PE Wellness and US Government courses. The courses are open to students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the 2016-17 school year. Each course lasts three weeks and the tuition is $300 per course. Health/PE Wellness will meet from 8:00am-12:00pm May 31-June 3, June 6-9, and June 13-16. US Government will meet from 8:00am-12:00pm May 31-June 3, June 7-10, and June 14-17.

Students may now register for the next driver’s education class, which will be taught by Ray Kroll ‘60 at DeLaSalle. The class meets from 9:00am-12:20pm on May 31-June 3, June 6-10, and June 13. Click here to download a registration form. You may return completed registration forms to the Administration Office. Registration forms are accepted until the class is filled. Classroom instruction costs $110 and behind-the-wheel instruction costs $330; students who register for both the class and behind-the-wheel instruction will pay $399.
