Spring Break – March 28-April 1, 2016

DeLaSalle is on Spring Break from March 28-April 1. Classes will resume on Monday, April 4.

During the break, the main school office will be open weekdays from 8:00am-4:30pm. Please note that many staff choose to take time off during the break. You may find how to contact an individual staff member through our online staff directory.

The DeLaSalle School Store will not be open during spring break. However, you can order items through the School Store website.

Register now for the summer Health/PE Wellness and US Government courses. The courses are open to students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the 2016-17 school year. Each course lasts three weeks and the tuition is $300 per course. Health/PE Wellness will meet from 8:00am-12:00pm May 31-June 3, June 6-9, and June 13-16. US Government will meet from 8:00am-12:00pm May 31-June 3, June 7-10, and June 14-17.

All DeLaSalle students are invited to participate on the committee that organizes Starry Night Prom by attending the mandatory meetings. The event is a prom for people in the greater community living with disabilities and will be held here at DeLaSalle on Saturday, May 7.

All participants must attend a meeting on Thursday, April 7 – either in the morning from 7:30-8:20am OR during your lunch. As always, please pick up your lunch and come promptly to A219.

Do you need to get in touch with your prehistoric self or relieve the tension of approaching final exams? Atlatl Society begins Tuesday, April 5, from 3:15-4:15pm in room B302. All are welcome! Please see Mr. Sczepanski if you have any questions.

DeLaSalle has an opportunity to pursue a boys’ swimming team. If you are interested, please sign up in the Student Activities office.

Students may now register for the next driver’s education class, which will be taught by Ray Kroll ‘60 at DeLaSalle. The class meets from 9:00am-12:20pm on May 31-June 3, June 6-10, and June 13. Click here to download a registration form. You may return completed registration forms to the Administration Office. Registration forms are accepted until the class is filled. Classroom instruction costs $110 and behind-the-wheel instruction costs $330; students who register for both the class and behind-the-wheel instruction will pay $399.

Juniors, are you planning on taking the June 11 ACT exam? You may want to build your testing skills in a five-week prep class at DeLaSalle through ACT Ready. The class will meet once a week beginning Monday, April 25. Spaces are available in the 5:30-7:30pm class. Please carefully read this information sheet. Click here to register. Questions?
