DeLaSalle will hold an online learning day on Wednesday and students do not need to report to school. We made this decision in the interest of student safety and because our bus company could not run transportation routes.

Students should check their Canvas accounts for assignments by 9am. Activity coaches and moderators will communicate their team status.

Today marks the middle of our Catholic Schools Week and Winterfest celebration. Thursday’s Out of Uniform is Sports Day: Wear your favorite team’s colors and display your team spirit. Jerseys, socks and shirts etc. are encouraged.

Click here for full coverage, including all out of uniform days and activities.

The Catholic Schools Week liturgy scheduled for today has been pushed back to tomorrow because of the online learning day. We will gather in the Florance Center after 1st hour tomorrow for our Catholic Schools Week liturgy. DeLaSalle parent and pastoral associate at Holy Rosary Church, Deb Organ, will share a reflection on the Year of Mercy. Please remember to leave all of your belongings in your 1st hour classroom and to go with your 1st hour class to the liturgy.

Student Council, along with Memorial Blood Centers, will sponsor a Blood Drive on Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm in A219. Students and staff may sign up in the attendance office to donate blood. You must be 16 or older to donate.

The votes have been tallied, the Sadie Hawkins dance decorations are winter-themed this year. The dance dress code is casual, ladies choice. Come down to the winter wonderland to dance, take pictures and play games. This Saturday from 7:00-10:30pm in the Florance Center. The cost is $6 (or $5 if you also bring a canned good).

You must bring your student ID, as you will not be admitted to the dance without it!. If you have lost your ID, you can get a replacement for $3 in the administration office. The administration office is on the 2nd floor between the A and B buildings.

What does casual dress code mean? Click here to read about what is allowed in the Student-Parent Handbook.

If you choose to bring a guest to the dance, you must complete and return this Dance Guest Form by Friday.

Good luck to Carter Steinhagen ‘17, who participates today in alpine skiing sections at Wild Mountain. Carter reached sections after finishing in the top 6 of all of his high school races. Depending on how well Carter does today, he could participate in the state tournament next week.

The Tabletop Games Club will meet tomorrow in B307.  Our game for the week is Formula D, in honor of Sports Day.  If you are not going Alpine skiing, come race with us.

Come play Scrabble on the first Friday of each month. Join us after school February 5 in Ms. Sullivan’s room, A206. This is very informal and you can come when you can.
