Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

O God, make us willing to do your will, come what may. Increase the number of persons of good will and moral sensitivity. Give us renewed confidence in nonviolence and the way of love as taught by Christ. Amen.
(A prayer of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.)

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

We gather in the Florance Center after first hour today for an all school prayer service honoring the life of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Our worship service will be led by Mr. Steven Pittman, father of Nevaeh ’16, and the Praise Team at Overcomers Victory Church. Mr. Pittman is the music director of this multitalented, multicultural group comprised of vocalists, songwriters, musicians and producers.  The mission of the group is simple: to glorify God with the ministry of song through their gifts and talents.  Mr. Pittman’s nephew, Pierre Fulford, will also be joining us to share a spoken word message.

Congratulations to these students who earned a place on the honor roll for the first semester.

There is no school Monday as we observe the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday.

On Thursday, Lasallian Ministry will gather for our first meeting of the new semester.  All are welcome.  The meeting will be held in A219 (formerly the Robert Casanova Room) from 7:30-8:20am. Snacks will be provided.

The Tabletop Games Club meets after school on Thursday in B307 and will play King of New York (with King of Tokyo as a backup if we have enough players). If you haven’t played these before, please watch this episode of Geek and Sundry’s Tabletop: King of Tokyo video for an introduction. King of New York is based on King of Tokyo, but has an expanded rules set. (Note: this is a YouTube link, so students will not be able to watch at school).

Will the principal be DeLaSalle’s King of New York?  Will he even show up to do battle?

In order to best meet the needs of our growing student-athlete population, DeLaSalle has expanded its athletic training room hours. Our athletic trainer, Cindy Schlafmann, will be here for all home events, as well as the following:
