Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, I pray to live this day in joy and thankfulness for what I have, remembering always who made me and who keeps me. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

In order to meet with a college rep, you must register for the visit through your Naviance account and notify your teacher at least one day before the visit. You may show your teacher your iPad with the registration on Naviance as your pass. Remember, you are responsible for any work you miss during your visit with the college rep.

We host our next Open House for Prospective Students and Families on Monday evening at 7:00pm. So that we can clean and prepare our campus for our guests, we ask that all students who are not involved in an after school activity leave campus immediately after school on Monday. The Library & Technology Center will close at 3:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation.
Temporary student day passes will NOT be available tomorrow. Vehicles not properly displaying a valid parking permit will be towed.
Game Day in the Lasallian Ministry office is today during all lunch periods.  We will then be off for two weeks but back on again on Thursday, January 28. We brought in 4 new games over the break so, come check it out.

Lasallian Ministry will not meet this week or next.  Our first meeting for the new year will be on Thursday, January 21 from 7:30-8:20am in A219 (formerly the Robert Casanova Room). All are welcome.
Juniors will participate in a day-long series of college planning activities tomorrow. Students should report to their 1st hour class for attendance. Please see the Guidance office with any questions.

Student volunteers are needed to help Touchstone Mental Health conduct a telephone satisfaction survey of the more than 1,100 adults served annually by the South Minneapolis-based nonprofit provider of mental health services. Clients receive notice about the survey and know they will be receiving a phone call.

Surveys will be conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-7:30pm on January 12-14, 19-21, and 26-28.

Volunteers do not need to participate every evening and can choose which dates will work with their schedules. Refreshments and snacks are provided.

If you are interested, please contact Kathie at 612-843-2201 to sign up or ask questions.

Seniors, don’t forget that all of your hours and paper are due by January 22 – no exceptions.  You can find Christian Service information, forms and agency ideas on the DeLaSalle website. Contact Mr. CJ Hallman in the Lasallian Ministry office if you have any questions or concerns.

Great Gatherings directly support student scholarships while offering De parents an opportunity to connect with other parents in their child’s grade. The parties provide a fun, casual environment for parents to share their experiences as they and their children navigate high school – from being a 9th grader all the way to college admissions.

There are two more Great Gathering parties scheduled:

  • 11th grade: Saturday, January 16, 7:00pm
  • 12th grade: Saturday, January 9, 6:30pm

Click here if you would like to attend a party. The cost is $25 per person.
